Aromatherapy for the Senses


Aromatherapy uses essential oils from plants to take advantage of its many properties in the application of both beauty treatments and therapeutic, in order to maintain a balance of mental, physical and emotional. Essential oils represent the most subtle and purified component of plants, all have antiseptic properties to a greater or lesser degree, and the characteristics of each can be: anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle relaxants, stimulants, sedatives, anti-rheumatic, etc.

One of the most important qualities of essential oils is that they can act either through the skin and the olfactory system, so that its effects go beyond the physical plane, with positive influences on the nervous system, which promotes our state mind helping to balance emotions and psychological functions.

In our daily life the proper use of essential oils helps us to strengthen our immune system, alleviate common ailments such as headache, insomnia, mental fatigue, physical exhaustion etc.

After much walking, especially on hot days, wrap the legs with a cotton cloth soaked in cold water and a few drops of essential oils of peppermint and rosemary, to refresh and encourage circulation. It is also very effective for sleep, apply a soothing massage in the big toe, with a drop of lavender essential oil.

In the body there are certain points that help relieve discomforts of summer and the use of some essential oils can avoid disaster and enjoy the healing power of aromas. 1. Vitality

2. Relax your shoulders
